Yes, that is me with the glasses on the right. I had an eye infection that weekend and was forced to wear my glasses. YUCK! But as you can see, Mom and I are looking more and more alike. Lucky me.
Here is Mom (Ruth) in line at the Earth Angels Booth. She is always there for me and with me. She is the best Mom ever!!!!
Here is Sandy checking out the Earth Angel goodies. This booth was packed in the morning. We hit there first. Next year, I would do that later in the day when it quiets down in there a bit. It was crazy!!
These old Christmas balls were crochet covered and they looked so pretty in the metal basket. My Mom has made these over the years. Maybe this year place them in a basket instead of on the tree.I wanted to take this sign home and hang it somewhere, but it was so big and also would be so easy to make. But this sign just says it all!!
Every year the vendors jazz up dress forms at each of their booths. Here are a couple of my favorites.
Well, this year I was very good about spending too much $$$$$. That was last years amount. This year I think I spent $$. Needless to say, my hubs was happy I had some constraint. Here are some of my purchases. These dolls are in the original box and it says, "Roses are Red and Violets are Blue," on the label. I found this pretty salmon colored vintage linen, and the primitive witch.
Mom bought me the pink Xmas tree in the pitcher to put in the glamper. I bought the squares of old vintage linens and a yard + of the tiny blue rosebud fabric. The other is a small pocket pillow with lace which will be given as a gift.
When we got home from CLF, we had pizza and salad and Sandy gave me these wonderful presents. In the Boss Lady bag was the Sisters on the Fly book and Camper T-shirt, a Fall candle and Halloween crafting kit, a necklace by Classic Hardware, a Mother-Daughter hanging she made and a picture book from the Beach Babe Weekend at Sandy's this past June. She spoiled me!!!!
I love this piece and have already hung it in my studio.
And I have been wearing this non-stop.
Here are all of our ugly dolls finally finished. We had to cook them Friday night when we got back from CLF. We laughed ourselves silly baking these silly dolls. Sandy did an awesome job teaching the class. Thanks again sweetie for all of the supplies and kits!! It was a blast.
Almost finished showing you the weekend. I have a few pics from Savannah that I will share. Have a great weekend!!
