The Beauty of Summer

My butterfly bush has grown so large that it towers over my head. The visitors are so beautiful on its blooms and branches.
We are enjoying the summer despite the heat. The garden is lovely and it is getting me in the mood for the lovely Garden Art Party I have been invited to in late July. Lots of inspiration for goody bags and treats to take along with me. Will share more later. Hope you are enjoying your summer time, too.

Oh I bet you are seeing lots of butterflies! We are fortunate to live in the path of the great Monarch Migration during late summer/early fall. They start mid-September coming from Canada, across Lake Erie south through Ohio. Last summer we counted 17 Monarchs out at the property one evening. Can't wait to hear about your garden party:)
