A Day With The Southern Belles...

It was a beautiful day yesterday. The weather was perfect and so were the ladies I met. What a talented group.
We had lunch in Hoschton, GA and exchanged hand made gifts. Sharon our host had little gifts and goodies for all of us. Many thanks Sharon for your generosity and for all the time you put into making this get together a wonderful time.
I had a great time with my travel partner! It was so good to see you again, friend. You always make me laugh! We all made name badges to identify our names and blogs. Here is Dawn's.
I received a lovely piece of art from Suzanne in this pretty cloth bag.
Here is the gift I made.
I took an old flour sac that I purchased from one of my junkin excursions and cut it up to make a tote bag.
I added some lace, ribbons and a velvet flower to the bag. All ready for junkin.
Now this is one talented artist that I am standing next to. This is Yvette from The Charm House. She is such a kind spirit. Stop by her blog and say hello!
We enjoyed junkin that afternoon and I found a beautiful vintage linen table cloth and a great bag of buttons. I hope you all had a great weekend. I will post again this week. I have some catching up to do!

I'm signing up for the Georgia group! I just found it by chance while hopping around BlogLand this afternoon. Did y'all save me a bite of something?! Please accept my invitation to drop in at my place one day this week when you get a moment! I have become a follower and hope that you will do the same...
