Bonjour Mon Amie

In my last post I mentioned the new book I bought Vintage Collage Works. I picked the birds on clothes pins as my first project. Here is my first birdie with a tag that I am sending to a friend. I modified the instructions a bit and used my Pazzle cutter to cut out the birds rather than drawing and creating a template to trace out the birds. My cutter saved me time and created a much prettier bird. I also painted the clothes pin and added other embellishments. It needed some bling! The instructions were very good and easy to follow. I highly recommend this book. The pictures and projects are wonderful.

Here are the rest of my flock.

I also recently bought this collection of rubber stamps from Cavallini and Co. They are Paris themed and they work fantastic. I just love this company's products. I also had to have the stickers as well. If you don't have a set yet, go get them!My last purchase this week was this sweet blue dish with the birds perched on it. I decided to put some of my bling on it for now. It is so pretty. I just love the color.Stay tuned for some more birds. I am going to make some black and creme themed ones with some of these Paris stamps to sell in my booth at the Carriage House and some Country themed ones in red, blue and tan for the 4th of July. My first month at the Carriage House I sold 3 jewelry pieces which covered my rent this month and left me with enough money to buy myself a Grande Iced Vanilla Latte from Starbucks to celebrate.

I hope you all have a great week.

Love,

Tammy
