Last October, Lee and I went to a Get-Away Girls Weekend in the Outer Banks and we spent the weekend with 30+ women from all over the country who were seriously into scrapbooking. Of all the ladies we met, Luz and her friend Deb were so great to talk to and were genuinely warm and caring people. Well, Luz kept in touch and soon we became great blog buddies.Saturday, I received a package from Luz with some awesome things!
Luz hand-made this terrific banner with my name on it. It is so me and matches my studio to a T. It is already hanging on the wall. The ribbons and sparkly details on this are so great. It is such a clever idea and I was just smiling from ear to ear when I saw it.
I so appreciate all of the effort that went into this.The next treat in the package was this neat book full of scrapbooking artists and how-to's.
Luz knows of my love for all things vintage so she told me she bought this book second hand in a quest to find me something old or once loved. You rock, Luz.Last, but not least is an ATC that she made. Luz, has joined the Pay It Forward ATC Swap that I asked her to participate in and she has taken off with them. This card is so creative and so cinnibonbon.
I can't thank you enough, Luz for thinking of me and for sending these wonderful gifts. You are a great friend.
