A Snowy Valentine

Friday was a cloudy day and we prepared down South for a snow storm. Yes, I did say a snow storm. It is very rare, but it does happen. While the snow was falling outside we were celebrating Valentine's Day inside.
Don' these strawberries look wonderful? They are lovely, but they tasted even better after I did this:
I melted some Ghiardelli Chocolate chips and dipped these red beauties until they were covered.
I finished them off by drizzling melted white chocolate over the top. Very pretty and oh so yummy! These were so easy to make. Definitely give them a try some time.
As most of you know, Friday night is always homemade pizza night for family and occassionally some friends. So I set the table to celebrate some Love.
Mom and Dad gave me this salmon pink azalea to plant in the Spring
We had presents and cards to share.
And after 2 bottles of this, we had a great little pizza party.
This is a great little bottle of wine. If you like Reislings, this is made in Germany and about $10.00 a bottle. I love the blue bottle and pink polka dot label.
After an enjoyable evening we woke up to this:
As much as I dislike the snow, I have to admit that it was so beautiful clinging to the trees.
I would take my favorite flip flops with red nail polished toes over these any day!!!! Oh well, we certainly can't control the weather. It was fun while it lasted, but I am glad it melted yesterday. I hope you are ell enjoying a wonderful Valentine's Day. Hugs and Kisses!

The snow was magical here in Buford, Ga! I loved looking out over my fish pond and watching the crystals fall. It truly was gorgeous! Fun, and wet too. Your Valentines party was beautiful.

So elegant, and the strawberries looked so good! I'll be hunting up some of that PolkaDot wine! The boys and I had our heart-shaped pizza and sprite in light-up glasses... It was great, but wine and strawberries would have been nice, too! Nice pics, by the way! I especially liked the snowy tree against that blue sky. Happy Valentine's day!

With everything you do, your special touches shine through. Your Valentine table; beautiful, your home-made pizza and salad, superb, your thoughtful gifts, beautifully presented and lovingly given. I'm sure the strawberries were as delicious as they looked. You are my super girl. The big "cupcake" cake was really fun to eat, too! You amaze me, Love, Mom
