Goodbye Metal Mouth!

It's been 1 year, 3 months, 5 days, 6 hours and too many minutes that I have been wearing these braces. I got the good news today that they are ready to come off and we even set the date MARCH 17th!!!!! Approximately one month to go! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now it will be time for retainers and whitening gel.
I had to share my good news. My poor friends will be happy to hear this as well. They have been listening to me whine and bitch about my braces for over a year now. Thanks for putting up with me, girls!

Oh, I'm so envious you have braces! I need them - but they're not making the "short list" right now. Hopefully soon! I would love to have perfectly straight teeth. Congratulations!

Oh goodness that brings back lots of memories for me. I was the total opposite of you, I got my braces off when I was 16 and cried for 4 days after, I wouldnt even leave the house, I was so use to the braces covering up my teeth when I got them off I thought they looked so big I hated it. Thats over 10 years ago and my retainer still fits me I wear it sometimes at night but it isnt really much use now. I have got to the stage that I know I have a gap in my teeth and have learned to accept myself the way I am and if other dont like it then I dont really care about them. The braces did help straighten my teeth a bit but it was more about accpeting myself and not being self conscious for me :)

Awesome news! Your teeth will feel sooo slick when you first get them off. You have a pretty smile now, so I can't wait to see what it looks like after they come off!

I always wanted braces growing up, I would even wear rubber bands around my teeth trying to make them crooked but no luck. It seemed like all the pretty girls in school had them and I desperately wanted them until I saw the sores and stuff they would get around their lips, YUCK!! I know you have been miserable so I am very happy for you, good thing you didn't get them funky sores around your mouth, hahaha. I will be calling you soon abt.some possible classes in Byron.
love ya,
angela

Congrats!!! I had my braces waaayyy back when I was in junior high and I can still remember what a pain they were. Once they are off your tongue won't be able to stop rubbing over your teeth! Have a great weekend and Happy Valentine's Day!
