Well, we are off and running, or should I say crafting in 2010! I joined Natalea's Valentine Tag Swap this year. There are 20 of us participating making a Valentine themed tag.
It was an assembly line of pink papers, lace, black and creme cameos, buttons, ribbons and rhinestone finishes. They came out very sweet and got me in the mood to do some more Valentine creating.
This is a Cupid's Arrow Valentine Ornament that we put together to sell as a kit on Twigs and Feathers.
French vintage text, pink glittered cupid, pink mercury glass beads, tulle and all the other pretty elements to make this ornament.
Time to start my hand-made Valentine cards for my family and friends this year. Have a great week everyone.

Lovely Valentines! Valentines day is my 2nd favorite holiday after Christmas. I really like the colors of Valentines and the easy way to express love.
I am so excited that you are wanting to attend the GA gal get together. Please please send me any ideas that you might have. I am kinda leaning toward March as that seems like the month several have stated. But I am still up in the air. Once we make the date plan then we can decide if there is a theme needed. etc.
YAY! These are so lovely, I love silhouettes! I cannot wait to join another swap. I am sorry to miss Nat's swap this year. Do you need more beads?? I have tons.
I love the silhouettes. So cute and classicly elegant. The ornament is fun. Love Valentine's decor. So cheerful!

These tags are adoreable - nice work, Tammy! Beautiful silhouettes... Thank you for sharing - Glad to see you off and running with the New Year...xo Julie
Love love love!! Girl..this is amazing. That cupis is too die for...I just love glitter...really I do!!!
I haven't even had a chance to clean up from the Holidays yet but you make me want to jump right in to Valentine's Day!
Hi Tammy - Thanks for leaving such nice comments on my blog - you're the best. I'm glad that I am not the only early bird out there...
Now that the Holidays are over, I was wondering if you could pop my altered book in the mail - I really hate ask...you know I do....but, maybe the next time you are posting something you could send it out, too.
I was just browsing through my flikr photos - cleaning it up a bit - and saw the journals and it reminded me of mine - I really hate that messy cover, but I was in the midst of treatments and that cover really reflects where I was at...all over the place. However, it makes it kind of a visual homage to my year spent in hospitals...what a year...I'm glad it is over and this year it's all about getting dirty in the garden and growing flowers.
What's this year about for you?
xo Julie
You're on a roll girl! I am loving the tags for Nat's swap!

So pretty! I love these tags I can not wait to get them back. Hugs Grace
