The C.L.O.G. got together for our last supper club dinner for the summer a few weekends ago. We decided to do a dinner in the round. Three of us ladies hosted for cocktails and appetizers, dinner and dessert. The theme was a Mexican Fiesta!
Our first stop of the night was at Stan and Annette's house. We had Sangria, Margarita's, Southwestern Crisps and Mexican Potato bites.
Annette decorated her house cute with Mexican flag banners, and red chile peppers.
Here is Stan, our Margarita maker for the night. They were delicious. Stan got into the evening. At their house he wore this bandana with red chile peppers and then at my house he switched to a straw hat.
Trina and I toasting our first margarita's, or was it our 3rd???
After cocktails, we walked across the lawn to our house for the main course.
The dining room was a blaze of candles everywhere. I decorated the chandelier and the table with bright colors.
Along with the candles, I had fresh flowers and paper ones to liven things up.
Our main course was flank steak fajitas and a layered taco salad. I set up everything buffet style.
The sizzling fajitas came out great. Here is a picture of me and the Mr.
We always have a great time. This group of 8 really enjoys each others company. We left my house and went down around the corner to finish our dinner with dessert at Marla's. We had key lime pie ice cream and Million dollar brownie cream cheese pie. I failed to remember my camera when we left for Marla's. One too many margarita's I guess. Well, the group has decided to continue to meet on some frequency, so we will do our best to get our busy schedules together and come up with some more fun.
