Look who I met at the airport!

When I went up to the airport to pick up my friends for Girls Weekend, Don and I browsed around while we waited. We walked into a "Home" store and low and behold, Anna Griffin was there! She was spending a little time in the store before she flew out for another function. She was meeting and greeting shoppers, introducing herself and showing off some of her product line. This store was filled with some beautiful Anna Griffin goodies. I did not know who she was right away. I had never seen her picture before. She was introduced to me and my eyes lit up. We got to talking and I mentioned my Girls Weekend and my art studio. She was very excited about my weekend and she went in the back to get some of her scrapbooking items. She came back with a bunch of journaling tags and signed one for each of my friends.
What a great gesture to all of my friends and for her to take time out of her busy day for me was just terrific. She is so down to earth and a true lady.
She also gave me a sheet of her designer paper and signed that too. This paper is from her Caroline line of papers. I love this Springy collection of scrapbooking papers. The girls from the weekend will recognize this. This was a card I made for each of the girls and had them in their goody baskets. This card was made from Anna Griffin papers that I bought at Michael's. Both the background paper and the bird paper are from her collection. I can't believe that I bumped into her. It was a great honor to meet her. She has a business that she built from the ground up and it is going gang busters. Her company is based right here in Atlanta, GA. Very cool!

Since meeting Anna, I have had my eye out for some of her products. I found these pretty Thank You notes and flip flop invites at Target. I picked the boxes first and then noticed that they were Anna Griffin stationery. She is definitely my taste.I also ordered this book on designer cards and tags. I look forward to getting this and trying out some of the projects.

Anna does have a blog that you can check out and read all about her travels and some of her products. You can find her on QVC as well.

I hope that you will learn more about this creative business woman and go check out some of her fab product line.

How cool would it be for her to come to the next Girls Weekend?!?! We'd just have to edumacate her "southern style", hahaha. I guess I would have to be on my very best behavior, right?
I have been so crazy making flower fairies for the girls coming to EnLe Jardin :), that I haven't had a chance to get with you but we have to get together one day next week, I'll call you!!

How neat! I love her products too. I fell in love with those same thank you notes from Target. The hot pink ribbon POPS againts the black and white. LOVE IT! Did Natalea mention something on her blog about you working for Anna in some capacity in the future? That would be AWESOME! Hope you have a great weekend.

Hugs,
