Girls Night Out

When I moved to Georgia, I never thought that I would hit the "jackpot" when it came to making friends. Well, I have been so blessed and lucky to find 5 absolutely amazing women to call my friends. We are all neighbors and between us we have 7 daughters. So, there is always plenty of girl talk to go around. We have been meeting for several months now at each others homes crafting, scrapping, eating, laughing, etc. We have all been so busy that we decided that we would go out this time for dinner and a movie. We first went to dinner at Shoki's Japanese Steakhouse in Macon. We enjoyed a fantastic and entertaining meal with lots of shrimp, filet mignon and chicken. Yes, there were drinks involved.

After a fun dinner we went across the street to the local movie theater and did our best to find a chick flick, but had no luck. We chose the new Will Smith movie, Hancock and laughed almost the entire movie. It was a great time going to a grown up movie with now singing or dancing or animation, no telling anyone to sit down and be quiet or no fighting over the popcorn. And no one used the word potty all night. We definitely need to go out again soon.
From left to right: Marla, Annette, Suzanne, Myself and Stephanie. What great gals!

Get your girlfriends together and do something fun! Have a blast.

I'm so glad you had such a good time. As women it is so important to bond with friends and do stuff just for us once in a while.

Where would we be without our friends. They truly enrich our lives. You are truly lucky!

I have been having girls nites out for years but not much anymore since I live to far out in the country and all my friends live in the city. Night driving is not so good anymore. But I remember how much fun we had playing cards, bunko, etc. My daughter-in-law is a busy working girl and Mom and she just had her first night out this past weekend. She had a blast! ~ Lynn
